Egor Shugaev co-authored two more books, 'O nasledstvennom deputatstve i drugikh poleznykh veshchakh'(1994) and 'Deputatov nado liubit´' (1999), with Sergei Iushenkov (1950-2003), a politician of the new generation, who was assassinated in Moscow. Iushenkov was formerly a vice-chairman of the party 'Demokraticheskii Vybor Rossii', the editor of the newspaper 'Demokraticheskii Vybor', and one of co-chairmen of the new party Liberal Russia. The case was not resolved. Thanks to contacts with Sergei Iushenkov and other Duma deputies Shugaev was able to meet informally many Russia´s politicians and journalists of the new generation. He planned to publish ten issues in the series 'Liubimye anekdoty znamenitykh liudei' but the project ceased in 2003. Only issue one was published and sold out instantly.
