Adalbert Neimanis (1897 - 1980) was a leading bookseller of émigré publications printed in all corners of the world in XX century but he and his son Orest Neimanis, both American citizens, one time decided to stay outside publishing activities.Adalbert Neimanis started his career as a book dealer in pre-WW II Riga. Larger part of the run was sold to Israeli Russian book stores in the earlier 1970s and most of copies were read into the pulp in private hands and public libraries.. |
