The author graduated from Baku Oil and Chemistry Institute and worked as a leading engeneer in Shevchenko (Kazakhstan) and Moscow.

The book illustrated by a Moldavian cartoonist and artist Valeriu Kurtu, a husband of Iuliia Kurtu, a prominent Berlin children educator, ceramist and sculptor. Valeriu Kurtu exhibited in Berlin, Malmö (Sweden), Russia and Moldavia. His works can be found at Berlin´s Center Judaicum collection.

This publication is a part of larger short-lived publishing project by 'Raduga' book store. Book shop 'Raduga' was Berlin´s best Russian bookstore in 2000s, specializing in Russian and émigré literature. The shop was located close to Russian (former Soviet) Embassy complex.Till mid 1990s it was a popular gathering place for Berlin´s Russian literati, musicians and artists, where Russian émigrés and 'curators' from RHWK, Berlin and Soviet Embassy clerks mixed.

There were three or four books more books printed by book shop, before the project failed around 2004 and 'Raduga' moved to Charlottenburg quarters.
