Collection of forceful and brilliant drawings of animals in Berlin Zoo. A real labor of love. The book continues a tradition of sketches made by Adolph Menzel, Paul Meyerheim and August Gaul made in Berlin Zoo in XIX and XX centuries. Small sketch in b/w and study drawing tipped in. Author´s working copy for a commissioned sculpture in bronze by a Russian art collector.

The author of essay (b. 1972 in Rubežnoe , now Ukraine) , studied history and political science in Dnepropetrovsk, modern history with a focus on Eastern Europe and art history in Tübingen. Dissertation project on the dispute over the Russian art of the 1900s - 1930s ( Work in Progress ) . Since 2005 freelance art historian and researcher on migration .

Co-authored exhibition catalogs: Took ! ' Jewish- Russian immigration in the Federal Republic of Germany ' at the Jewish Museum Frankfurt and ' History. 30 Artists' Notion of Germany ' at the Jewish Museum Berlin. Grappled with the scandal surrounding the Adorno Monument in Frankfurt - a story with a migration background.
