According to the poet he destroyed the entire run of his first book. His second book and the third (Doktor noch´) were sold within one year of publication. Leningrad´s antiquarian bookstore no.68 rubber stamp with a censorial smaller rubber stamp of tovaroved from 1967. Old price in blue ink marked '1 [ruble]'. According to a Berlin bibliophile Ia. A. the price of one ruble for a rare poetry book of 1920s in 1967 was rather high. Front cover chipped, no loss to color or text, 1 small tear, ca. 1 cm. Limited edition of 1000 copies. PRINTED ON BETTER PAPER. Limited ed. of 1000 copies. Author´s (?) signature in red pen 'N. Berendgof' . A poem '21 ianvaria 1924 g.' printed for the first time in book form. Not reissued in number of anthologies on V. I. Lenin or in all major works on 'V. I. Lenin in literature'. Earlier poem on 'Red Aeroflot' (Soviet Air Force, not to be mixed with 'Aeroflot, Inc.' of later days.) A rare and desireable book by collectors of Russian XX century poetry.
