Text in Estonian and Russian. Francois Mauriac´s epilog printed in French. Dr. Alexis Konstantinovich Rannit ( Aleksei Konstantinovich Dolgoshev ), Russian - Estonian poet, critic, literary researcher and transator initiated the publication of this edition. A. K. Rannit was a leading figure in P.E.N. From the very begining of printing process A. K. Rannit and New York based artist Serge Gollerbakh supervised typesetting of this edition in person at Waldon Press, Inc. printing shop facilities.

Part of the run (ca. 150 to 200 copies) was sent by mistake to pulp factory from Waldon Press, Inc. warehouse in the middle of 1970s. Most of copies stayed in the USA and Israel, few copies reaching Europe. Another copy (slightly stained) was sold at LiberBerlin Book Fair in 2011 for 200 Euro.
