First edition. 1000 copies printed. Poet´s third collection of poems. Rozhdestvenskii was a member of St.Petersburg 'Tsekh poetov'. The collection 'Zolotoe vereteno' belongs to acmeism period and influenced by Nikolai Gumilev´s poetry. An important book for in studies of acmeism movement. Already by mid 1930s Rozhdestvenskii was known as conformist Soviet poet. He did not include a larger number of his early poems in his numerous later books.

The book was typeset at former Golike &Vil´borg press under supervision of V.Anisimov , a famous typographer and book culture historian.
